Broker commissions are available in participating Southern Homes’ communities and are offered on a community-by-community basis. To qualify, the buyer’s agent must be registered at the buyer’s initial contact with Southern Homes, whether that occurs online, by phone, in person, or through a video tour. Agents are required to accompany their buyer on the first model home visit or initial video tour, and a valid Buyer-Broker Agreement must be submitted before or at the time of initial contact. Once properly registered, qualified referrals receive a 30-day protection period, with a one-time extension available upon written request from the buyer. Commission is earned when the buyer executes a purchase agreement within the referral period and successfully closes. Please note that only one registered agent may be associated with each buyer for commission eligibility.
